Women in the Workforce
This event is to bring awareness of non-traditional, high wage, high demand programs and careers right here in our backyard. Each campus location will have information on a variety of Minnesota North College programs, not just the ones specific to that campus. The day will include panelist currently working in non-traditional careers and students in Minnesota North College Programs, area industry partners that support non-traditional careers, tours of Minnesota North College campus programs, complimentary lunch and t-shirt. The event is for area High School 10th -12th graders and Minnesota North College students. The event will run from 9:30 am – 2:00 pm.
Sign up on Mrs. Prophet's Door. You will need to be on track for graduation and passing current classes.

Early Childhood Conference
MN North - Virginia Campus will be hosting the Early Childhood Conference on Feb 20th. This is for students that are interested in going into the education field. The day will include: breakout sessions, keynote speakers, and networking! Please sign up for this event by Jan 31st. Sign up is on Mrs. Prophet's door.

Credit Recovery
Credit recovery begins on November 3rd.
It will run every Monday and Tuesday from 3:30 to 4:30. Please let Mrs. Prophet or Mr. Mellstrom know if you have any questions or concerns.
Giants Drama
Auditions for Giants Drama's 2026 One Act Play will be Monday and Tuesday, December 15th and 16th, from 3:30-4:30PM in Room 266. Auditions are open to all eligible MEHS students in grades 7-12th. The year's title will be announced and cast will be assigned before Winter Break. Possible choices will depend on appropriate participation, eligibility, and availability of casting. One-Act is a MSHSL Fine Arts competition event. Students in One Act experience an exciting and competitive theatrical event for high schools across Minnesota, in which each participating school presents a fully-staged play of no longer than 35 minutes. Schools perform at Sub-Section and Sectional competitions, and some schools then advance to the MSHSL State Festival.
Candy Grams
StuCo will be selling Christmas Candy Grams during lunch from December 8-12. Send your friends some Christmas cheer! Candy Grams are $1 each and will be delivered to classrooms during the week of Dec. 15-19. Thanks for supporting your High School Student Council and Happy Holidays!
YIA
A YIA and Leo-Sadd Club meeting will be on Monday, Dec. 15th at noon in Ms. Jasperson's Room. Please bring $10.00 ASAP if you are attending the holiday party at Giants Ridge Pool and Sauna Haus. Also, you will be registering for the Make a Difference Conference Feb. 9th in Duluth. Get a pass from Ms. Jasperson in the morning.

Held every Monday (unless school is closed) for 3-6th graders (should be able to swim across the pool).
Super Sharks (for advanced swimmers) held Monday - Friday 6:30 - 8:00 AM
